The concept art in this issue alone is testament to his knack for detail. Most tend to excel only in one area or another.
Wheatley is easily one of the better Star Wars artists at the moment, packing in plenty of detail when it comes to characters, ships, and architecture. And credit goes to Douglas Wheatley as well. Harrison manages to capture the seedier side of the galaxy in a way the new movies almost never did.
This issue makes for a fun introduction to the arc, with some quality characterization of Jennir and an amusing sidekick in the form of the droid H2. And it isn't long before an opportunity presents itself. Luckily, writer Mick Harrison doesn't portray Jennir as a man wallowing in self pity, but merely a soldier in need of a new fight.
